Flash Maps

Flash-based web sites can have graphical selection controls, which are more user-friendly than the menus and buttons found on typical web sites.

The left side is a modified FusionChart. The right is an integrated world map from maps4.com.

This application allowed users to make selections by visually drilling down through categories and subcategories.

The program was developed in Flash MX, and combined third party components, a flyout menu system, and the standard datagrid.
