Swingprofit Stock Charts

A chart component was developed from scratch for Swingprofit to display real-time stock price data. The component uses live data from a web service.

Y-axis price labels are calculated by the script. Additional price and summary information are displayed using text and graphics.

The look of the chart is customizable by the webmaster, who can use parameters to set colors and other display properties. This allows multiple charts to be displayed on the same page in different ways.

Inexpensive software packages, such as Graph ZX, can also be used to create professional graphs and charts. These programs can be customized and integrated into any HTML, PHP, ASP, or Flash based web site.
